Testimonials from Board Book Albums Customers.
"The Take Your Pix photo album is not only a wonderful toy for any child, but is also a great tool for parents, teachers, and therapists. This album can be used so many ways. Children will have fun looking at the pictures while developing speech and language skills, object recognition, eye-hand coordination, and fine motor skills. The album's smart design has sturdy pages that give developing children the independence they love as well as opportunities to develop motor skills. The pictures stay protected from harm, and can be interchanged as language skills progress. The Take Your Pix photo album is a great product!"

"Take Your Pix board book albums are a perfect solution for putting photos or other visual symbols into young hands. The albums are strong and durable with easy to turn pages which make them perfect for children who are less than gentle with books. I can think of many ways to use these board book albums. Photos of the child's experiences make them wonderful conversation starters. Fill them with pictures of food and they become traveling choice boards. Pictures of where we are going or what we are going to do turns them into schedule books. It is easy for adults to change the pictures in the pages, but the design makes it more difficult for children to do that. That helps to solve a problem encountered when trying to use more flimsy, less 'child-proof' varieties."

"I got my Take Your Pix photo album today and love it! When I first saw these albums, I thought what a great idea. Then I thought of my mother sitting in her chair all day and feeling like she can't do anything. Well, I am going to fill up the album with photos of the kids, grandkids, and great grand kids and she can pray for each one as she looks at them. That will be more helpful to her than anything in this world for sure. I can see my mother's face when she opens it.
How lovely! Thank you."Cindy Corkran, Houston, Texas
"While in Mexico, I worked as a counselor and special needs coordinator for small "private" schools in the area. I was devestated to see so many children lacking the critical tools needed become successful. I developed and created a library in one school that integrated special needs students with regular education students. The school had a total of 13 spanish language books when I arrived, and when I left 6 months later the students had more than 600 books to choose from! One of my students was blind, so I bought a slate and stylus and learned to hand translate board books to Braille using a special tape-like material from the National Foundation for the Blind. She had never felt Braille lettering and was THRILLED to learn to read with her peers. Since returning to the United States, I still visit regularly, bringing supplies and volunteering during my own fall and spring breaks as well as at summer programs these schools host. The students I am volunteering with lately are mostly non-verbal and I was trying to develop a durable tool that they can use to develop both dexterity and communication.
I fell in love with your product because I can type the text in Spanish onto the photos (using photoshop), and can re-use the same book as they develop and master new skills."

"I opened the package from Board Book Albums, Tori (4) and Emily (2)
rushed to them immediately, and now they can not stop playing with them!
In fact, they woke the next day asking about the Board Book Albums!!
They've already decorated the frames with flowers, fish and fun rubber
stickers. Next comes the pictures to insert!
I love the thick, sturdy material and the notches, which make turning
pages easy for little fingers (not to mention my husband's big hands!)
The top-loading pages make it super simple for swapping out photos as
the girls update their albums. The colors are bright for children and
the white version is ideal for bridal gifts.
Board Books are a blank canvas for creative play!
What makes this gift extra special is the creator behind it - a mom,
just like me. Laura is trying to make a difference in other women's
lives. Many children will enjoy her board book style photo album, but
especially kids with autism or special needs because it's very easy for
them to handle."

"I did order a book and was surprised how FAST it came! I am also pleased with it and can't wait to fill it up with pics for an almost 3yr old grandson that moved away to Florida. We haven't seen him for about 6 months now-and miss him so much and want to make sure he remembers the family he left behind, so will be filling it with pics of all of us to send to him for Christmas. What a great idea your albums are for little kids to be able to look at without fear of them ruining the pics! Thanks!"

"My niece Marissa is such a loving girl. She will be 10 the day after Christmas. She gives the best smiles and hugs! Her condition is tetrasomy 18p. I am sure that the board book photo album will be the perfect present for Marissa this year. Thank you!"

"Our daughter is 10 months and has suspected cerebral palsy. She is meeting her cognitive milestones but not her gross motor. She is also doing well with receptive language but not babbling consonants yet. We were going to try to make our own photo book but then came across your magazine article. The board books are exactly what we had in mind. Thanks,"
